Domestic leagues: Svjetlost with first win in Croatia First win at home for KK Brod-Svjetlost

The host of the 2010 opening game of the EUROHOLD Balkan League - KK Brod-Svjetlost got their first win in their local championship in Croatia. Under the guidance of newly acquired head coach Zoran Kalpic, the team won their game from the third round against Dubrovnik 83:70.   Four players from the home team finished the game in double digits in scoring. Veteran center Srdan Helbich led the team with 16 points, while Matej Kljaic added 12. Filip Vukicevic had a double-double with 11 points and 12 boards, while Matej Karlovic scored 10 points.   This was the team′s first win in the Croatian league this season, and now they have a 1-2 record, as well as four other teams.   Tomorrow KK Brod-Svjetlost are facing the current EUROHOLD Balkan League champions - Levski at 19.00 in Universiada Sofia.
