Domestic leagues: BC Mures on top in Romania

BC Mures, this year′s Romanian participant in the EUROHOLD Balkan League is on top of the Romanian championship after five rounds. In the last round, Csaba Deri′s team won against CSA Steaua Turabo, last year′s BIBL participant - 81:79.   That was the team′s fifth straight win from the begining of the championship.   Lithuanian forward Gytis Sirutavicius scored the most points for BC Mures - 20. Jason Forte addded 16 along with 14 rebounds, while JuJuan Cooley scored 13. Flavius Lapuste and Liviu Dumitru were the last players to finish in double digits - having 12 and 11.   Joshua Jackson scored 22 for Steaua and Virgil Stanescu added 19.   BC Mures don′t have a game in the BIBL until the 10th of November when they are playing against Feni Industries.
