The second round of the 2010/2011 EUROHOLD Balkan League tips off tomorrow in Sofia. At 19.00 in Universiada Hall, the defending champions from BC Levski are hosting the new addition to the BIBL - KK Brod-Svjetlost from Croatia.   The two teams were in different situations after the first round. KK Brod-Svjetlost hosted the opening game of the EUROHOLD BIBL for the new season, and were upset at home in Slavonski Brod by OKK Beograd, losing their debut 66:72.   On the other side, Levski started like champions. In their first game for the new season, they didn′t have any trouble defeating another new addition to the BIBL - KK Ulcinj, as the final score was +23 points for Titi Papazov′s team - 81:58.   Also, another fact about tomorrow′s game is that KK Brod-Svjetlost have a new coach. After parting ways with Igor Kovacevic, the team appointed Zoran Kalpic as the new head coach of the team. He already won his first game (83:70 against Dubrovnik in Croatia). Taking a look at what Levski did in the last round in Bulgaria, you will see exactly the opposite - they lost at home against the team of Lukoil Academic (72:88).   However, tomorrow the fans should expect an interesting encounter, as Levski are a combination of experienced local and foreign players, while KK Brod-Svjetlost rely only on young and talented locals.   The Croatians should have their eye on the duo Aaron Harper and Donald Cole, as those two were great for Levski last season, and continue to play good this year. Also Jason Crowe adds experience on top of the offense for Levski, and Stefan Georgiev is always solid in the paint. Titi Papazov can rely on a young and full with energy bench.   Levski should be aware of Matej Karlovc, as the 20-year old led KK Brod-Svjetlost in their first BIBL game, with 17 points. Also, Petar Cosic is a former junior National player for Croatia, and Srdan Helbich and Filip Vukicevic are solid rebounders, plus the new coach Kalpic will require a good performance from his boys.
