Dominant performance by Levski against Brod-Svjetlost

Levski achieved second consecutive win in Group A of EUROHOLD Balkan League. In Universiada Hall, the reigning champions smashed with 94-60 KK Brod-Svjetlost .The hosts took the lead at the end of the first period and had no problems to keep it until the end.
 
In the first minutes of the game the guests started better and scored 8 points in only two minutes. The Blues, however, made a series of 9-0 and led by 14-8. KK Brod managed to reduce the difference to 2 points 16-14, but a new series of Levski, this time by 7-0 pick up the difference by 9. After ten minutes of play the score was 23-16.
 
At the beginning of the second period both teams , Levski succeded to make the difference in double digits 30-20, and the Blues continued to increased it. Stefan Georgiev made a basket and a foul and set the score 44-27 at the half-time.
 
After the break Levski continued to dominate and increase their lead - it quickly passed the limit of 20 points items. The most interesting part in this period were the three  consecutive three-pointers by Aaron Harper, while after 30 minutes on the court  the Blues were ahead by 27 points, 66-39.
 
In the last quarter Levski began to play more quiet and for only four minutes the guests scored 13 points against 6 of the hosts and the result was 72-52. Titi Papazov  took a time-out, after which Levski scored 5 points in a row and again grew up the difference. In the final minutes Levski was the better team and the game ended with 34 points difference.
 
Aaron Harper was the best scorer on the field with 22 points, while the captain Stefan Georgiev was the most efficient player tonight with 19 points, 5 assists and 9 rebounds. Donald Cole scored 13 for the winners.
 
For the guests from Slavonski Brod Matej Karlovic played a good game, finishing with 17 points. Igor Maric scored 14 points, while Filip Vukicevic added 8 points and 10 rebounds in the losing case.
