Balkan is the last team to make their debut in the EUROHOLD Balkan League. The greens from Botevgrad are visiting KK Mornar Bar in Montenegro, as both teams would be up for a quality and interesting game of basketball.
Mornar already surprised everyone by winning their BIBL season opener against KK Feni in Kavadarci (100:106), while Balkan will be playing their very first game in the Balkan League at 18.00 in Topolica Hall in Bar.
In their local championships both teams achieved wins in the last round. KK Mornar Bar defeated last season′s BIBL finalist - Lovcen 76:71, while Balkan surprised Chernomoretz away from home 93:96.
Up till now Ivan Jelenic has been in great shape for Mornar, so Petar Klechkov will be keeping an eye on him. Lance Sullivan had a big game in the first round in Kavadarci, and Radoje Vujosevic has been showing good shape recently.
Georgi Davidov and Yordan Bozov - a well proved and well-known duo in Bulgaria has been a key for Balkan so far. Also veteran Dwayne Morton is adding security at the low post, where Krum Doychinov is trying to settle in. Joshua Gonner is an option on offense for Petar Klechkov as well.
The game tips off at 18.00 in Topolica Hall in Bar and will be broadcasted live on http://sportmedia.tvNews
