BC Mures won their game from the 9th round of the Romanian league against Miercurea - 97:81, and remained on the first place in the ranking. Csaba Deri′s team now has a 7-2 balance after 9 games have been played.
All five starters finished in double digits against Miercurea, in order for Mures to get their seventh win in their home champioship. Aleksandar Mladenovic and Gytis Sirutavicius scored 20 points each, as the Serbian center added 11 rebounds. Jason Forte added 19 points, along with 8 boards and 8 assists, while JuJuan Cooley finished with 15 points and 9 assists. Flavius Lapuste added 11 points.
Chris Rodgers scored 27 for Miercurea in their losing effort.
BC Mures are traveling to Macedonia, to face Feni Industries in Kavadarci on the 10th of November in the third round of the EUROHOLD Balkan League.News
