Domestic leagues : KK Brod won against the leader

First win after hiring of the new head coach Zoran Kalpic achieved KK Brod-Svjetlost. In Dvorana Vijus, young Croatian squad managed to take their second win in the Croatian Division A against one of the strongest teams in the league - KK Split - 95:82. It was first lose for the guest in this campaign.
 
That puts them on 8th place with a balance of 2-3, while KK Split tied the first place with 4-1 record.
 
Igor Maric made an impressive performance for Brod scoring 21 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Srdjan Helbich added 19, while Aljosa Sarac and Matej Karlovic were the other two players to score more than 10 - each of them finished with 15 points.
 
In the next round of the EUROHOLD BAlkan League, KK Brod-Svjetlost are facing the other newcomer -  HKK Zrinjski Mostar, and will look for their first win in the BIBL so far.
