BC Mures with an important signing

American guard, Dwight Lewis arrived yesterday to Targu Mures, where he might play for coach Deri′s team for the rest of the season. The team started the season very well, but lost two games in the last couple of rounds, so the coaching staff and the management decided to get one more import player on the roster. 

 
Dwight Lewis, a 196cm, 23 years old guard is an explosive scorer with a good mid-range game and the ability to defend on the perimeter. He just graduated on the University South Carolina this summer, where he was the best player as a senior averaging 13.8 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.2 steals per game! During his sophomore and junior seasons he played together with NBA-star O.J. Mayo and international point guard Daniel Hackett. In July he attended the NBA Summer League where he played 5 games with the Houston Rockets averaging 4.6 points in only 11.2 minutes per game. His best game was against the Phoenix Suns when ha scored 10 points in 13 minutes. In September he got on the roster of the Portland Trailblazers and only cut at the beggining of the regular season.
