Domestic leagues: Levski survived in Botevgrad

Levski survived in Botevgrad, and overcame Balkan to achieve a 72:85 win in the "BIBL derby" in the Bulgarian league. This was Levski′s fourth win, which gives them a 4-1 balance now, while Balkan dropped down to 3-2.
The guests from Sofia started off stronger, and dominated in the first half. After 20 minutes they were up by 15 points - 33:48. After halftime the team of Balkan was much more different than what they showed in the first half, and quickly started erasing the gap between the two teams. After 30 minutes they were down by only 6 - 56:62. However, in the decisive last quarter, Petar Klechkov′s squad missed their chances and failed to win - Levski went home victorious after 72:85.
Josh Gonner scored 17 points for Balkan. Georgi Davidov added 14, while Dimitar Filipov came off the bench, scoring 12.
Aaron Harper once again was the top performer for Levski. The American guard scored 23 points. Donald Cole and Jason Crowe had 14 and 13, while Gjorgi Cekovski finished with 12.
