Mirza Sarajlija , one of the most promising Slovenian players, signed a contract with KK Mornar Bar, announced from a local media.
 
The young player born in 1991, started last season with Krka Novo Mesto, but he didn′t pass the medical exam for the club. Then moved to Bosna ASA BH Telecom Sarajevo with whom he averaged 3.3ppg in 20 games in Adriatic League.
 
The 187 cm tall guard last summer has played European Championships U20 in Croatia averaging 5.5ppg, 1.8rpg, 2.1apg, 1.3spg, FGP: 45.5%, 3PT: 18.2%, FT:90.9% in 8 games. Mirza started his career playing for Union Olimpija as a junior. Sarajlija debuted in the UPC Telemach League in the 2007-08 season with Union Olimpija. He won the Slovenian championship and Cup with the team that year. In the season 2008-09 Sarajlija has made his debut in Euroleague with Union Olimpija. He made his Euroleague debut on November 27, 2008, versus Alba Berlin. First game in the Euroleague he scored 13 points, 3 rebounds with only 17 years. Sarajlija averaged 6.5 points, 1.7 rebound, 1.2 assists per game in his first season of Euroleague play. He also played in Adriatic League.
