Feni and Balkan opening up Round 5 tomorrow

KK Feni Industries are hosting BC Balkan in the first game of Round 5 in Group B of the EUROHOLD Balkan League. The game is set for 18.00 in Jasmin Hall in Kavadarci. Feni are currently second in Group B with a 2-1 record, while Balkan are fifth with 1-2.   Both teams are coming in the game after wins in their domestic championships - Feni won 64:77 in Strumica against the local ABA, while Balkan didn′t have trouble in the NBL - beating Euroins Cherno More 85:65.   Last week in the league Balkan suffered a loss in their visit to BC Mures (90:83), while Feni didn′t have a game. However, Feni′s last BIBL game was also again BC Mures, and they won it - 98:87 on the 10th of November.   Slobodan Mihajloski is Feni′s top scorer in the BIBL this season so far, as he′s averaging 14.3 points per game, followed by Dime Tasovski (12.7), Goran Samardziev (12.0), Jarrid Frye (11.7) and Darko Sokolov and Bosko Jovovic - 11.0 and 10.7. Tasovski is also the best rebounder with 6.0 rebounds per game, while Goran Samardziev is leading the team in assists - 5.3 per game. As a team Feni are averaging 33.7 rebounds and 16.7 assists each game.   On the other side, Joshua Gonner is Balkan′s top scorer - 17.7 points over three games, followed by Georgi Davidov (16.3), Lyubo Lilov (10.7) and Dwayne Morton (10.3). Davidov is the top rebounding man with 8.3 boards per contest, followed by guard Yordan Bozov - 7.5. Bozov is also the best passer - 10.5 assists per game. The team stats are better for Balkan - 34.3 rebounds per game, and as much assists as their opponent - 16.7.   The game is tomorrow at 18.00 in Jasmin Hall in Kavadarci and will be broadcasted live on the internet at http://sportmedia.tv.
