Rilski Sportist signed Vladimir Mijovic

The champions from the first edition of EUROHOLD Balkan League - Rilski Sportist Samokov, signed with Serbian forward Vladimir Mijovic. The 207 cm tall player, is well known in Bulgaria, as he spend one season with the Bulgarian champion Lukoil Academic. At last, Mijovic played in Cyprus, for the local Achilleas.
 
Vladimir, who celebrates his 26th birthday this week, was junior of the Serbian grand Partizan Beograd. During his stay in the team, he was also part of Serbian U18 National squad. In season 2007-2008 he was transfered to KK Sloga Kraljevo, where he recorded 15.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1 assists and 1  steal in 20 games. He played his best season in Cyprus, with Omonia Nicosia. He was the team leader with 21.3 points and 5.0 rebounds per game. His great performance for Omonia, gave him opportunity to play in Eurocup with the Bulgarian representative Lukoil Academic, but he failed to make the expectations. 
 
With the signing of Vladimir Mijovic, Aleksandar Todorov is looking to strength his squad, as his starting player on position four Atanas Radev is going to miss probably the hole season.
