Zrinjski reinforced their roster on guard position in the beginning of the new year. The Bosnian outfit signed a deal with Sindis Demic for rest of the season. The 27-year-old, 193 cm Bosnian arrives from Slavija Istocno Sarajevo, where he played last three and a half seasons. Before Slavija, Demic was a member of Vogosca MIMS and Bosna Sarajevo. In 2007, he reached the League Finals with Bosna Sarajevo.
 
         According to the reports from Bosnian media, HKK Zrinjski is close to signing Esmir Rizvic. Member of the Bosnia and Herzegovina National Team has reportedly
joined Zrinjski on trial for the next several days. He will try to impress in order to secure a deal. If everything goes according to the plans, Rizvic could be signed as replacement for recently departed Seid Hajric. Bosnian center spent last season with Zlatorog Lasko while at the start of this one he suffered injury setback which prevented him from playing in the first part of the season. It remains to be seen
whether the deal will be concluded in the coming days.
 
       Esmir Rizvic is a product of BC Celik Zenica where he made his professional debut. In 1999 he was touted as one of the top prospects in Bosnia and has made
debut for Celik senior Team. He played for Celik for 5 seasons during which he steadily improved his game. During 2003-2004, his last with the club, Rizvic averaged 8.9 points in 26 games played. In 2004 he went to United States where he played at Gulf Coast Community College. In 2006 he moved to Texas Tech University where in his debut season he averaged 3.8 points and 2.6 rebounds in 16 games. After two more seasons in the States, Rizvic returned to Europe in 2009. After trying out with Helios Domzale, he signed a deal with Zlatorog Lasko at the start of last season. He played in 35 games and has averaged 8.2 points and 3.9
rebounds per contest. He helped Lasko reach Slovenian Cup finals last season but fell short of winning it
