BC Mures strenghted their roster with Nicholas Covington

         According to Romanian media and Eurobasket.com, Nicholas Covington just signed with BC Mures and will be back to Romania in the next days. The 25 years old, 188 cm tall guard is a well known player in the country as he started this season with CS ELBA Timisoara. Covington played 14 games for the team and averaged 14.6 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.3 steals per game. Last season he played for Kalev Tallin in Estonia. He was the 4th best scorer with 16.4 points and added also 3.6 rebounds, 2.2 steals and 1.9 assists per game. He had also 10 games in the Baltic League averaging 16.9ppg, 3.1rpg, 2.4apg, 2.4spg, FGP: 37.6%, 3PT: 41.0%, FT: 90.9%. He graduated at Oklahoma City College, after one year in Weber State (NCAA). In his first season in Europe, Covington was the best player of his Mustang Sallys in Ireland Superleague with 21.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 2.9 steals in 17 games.
 
        ′I am very happy, that Nick decided to come back to Romania and play for our team. He knows our league very well as he played already 14 games with Timisoara and i am sure, that he will be able to help our team to reach our goals in this season′ - head coach Csaba Deri.
