KK Ulcinj defeated HKK Zrinjski for their second win

KK Ulcinj achieved their second win in the EUROHOLD Balkan League, after defeating HKK Zrinjski Mostar 89:82 in JU Gimnazija in Ulcinj. Despite the win Ulcinj and Zrinjski remained fourth and third in the table in Group A with balances of respectively 2-4 (Ulcinj) and 3-3 (Zrinjski).
 
Ulcinj′s Milos Djurisic scored the first points in the game - a long distance shot to give his team a 3:0 lead. In the opening minutes Ulcinj were playing better than HKK Zrinjski and managed to build and maintain a lead which was varying between 1 and 4 points. The guest team had their first lead of the game when Lazar Simonovic made a lay-up with 4.44 to go for 15:16. Until the end of the first Ulcinj didn′t take their lead back, and after ten minutes Zrinjski led 21:26.
 
The home side started the second quarter with a five to nothing run which tied the score at 26:26. Until the end of the second quarter the teams were tied four more times. However, Ulcinj were still unable to turn things around and get the lead, so after 20 minutes of play it was HKK Zrinjski who were still ahead - 42:45 at halftime.
 
Zrinjski scored the first points of the second half and their lead quickly grew to 6 points - 42:48. Ulcinj responded with a 9-2 run in the next 3 minutes which put them ahead by 1 point - 51:50. The two  teams continued to exchange the lead as neither of them could break away with more than 2 points. After 30 minutes of play still Zrinjski Mostar remained with the lead, having 3 points more - 65:68.
 
KK Ulcinj scored 5 unanswered points for a start of the last quarter which gave them a 70:68 lead with 8.53 on the clock. HKK Zrinjski had their first lead of the last period with 6.27 remaining when Sindis Demic scored a three-pointer for 74:75. Zrinjski′s lead quickly became 5 points - 74:79, before Ulcinj made an 8-0 run to become leaders with 82:79. Mate Perajica converted the and one play for 82:82 with 2.21 to go. Aleksandar Radulovic and Sinisa Tepavcevic combined for 6 unanswered points, which gave Ulcinj a 88:82 lead, as Radulovic also blocked a shot on defense. Radoje Djurkovic settled the final score at 89:82 by scoring one of two free-throws.
 
Ulcinj′s Aleksandar Radulovic had a strong game - 17 points, 4 rebounds and 4 blocked shots. Danilo Sibalic added 16, while Radoje Djurkovic was one rebound shy of a double-double - 13 points and 9 boards. Sinisa Tepavcevic scored 11 points in tonight′s win, while Milos Djurisic added 10 in just 8 minutes of playing action.
 
Mate Perajica had 24 points and 9 boards for HKK Zrinjski in their loss. Zeljko Sakic played 40 minutes in order to finish with 18 points and 9 rebounds, while Almir Hasandic added 15 points. Sindis Demic scored 11 in his debut for Zrinjski in the BIBL and Lazar Simonovic added 10.
