Balkan continue to be the most active BIBL team on the transfer market in January. The Greens from Botevgrad continued their "shopping" and added another new name to their roster - Tsvetelin Ivanov who joins the team from Chernomoretz Burgas.Ivanov is a 201-cm tall guard-forward who was born in 1989. He grew up with Slavia and Levski′s youth teams before making his debut with Levski′s senior team in 2006 and spent a total of three seasons there. In 2009 he moved to CSU Cuadripol Brasov in Romania, averaging 13.0 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.3 steals per game.
This season he moved to Chernomoretz Burgas, where he played 16 games, including 15 starts. His stats so far in the Bulgarian NBL are 12.9 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.0 steals in 27.8 minutes per game. In 2008/09 he played in 5 BIBL games with Levski, averaging 3.2 points and a rebound for 6 minutes.
