Domestic leagues: Hard earned win for Balkan in Yambol

BC Balkan finally stopped their losing streak which extended to three straight games before this round of the NBL. In their visit in Yambol, Petar Klechkov′s boys finally got that much needed win, turning the game around for the final score of 66:70.   Halfway through the game Balkan were losing by 7 points, but in the second half turned things around for the final score 66:70 and the win. Georgi Davidov led the team with 19 points and 5 rebounds and Tsvetelin Ivanov scored 10 points in his debut for Balkan. Stanimir Marinov came up off the bench adding 14 points.   Nikolay Varbanov impressed for Yambol with a big double-double - 27 points and 16 rebounds. Slovenian Simon Finzgar added 10 points.   Balkan remained third after this win with a balance of 8-7.
