HKK Zrinjski secured the third place Sakic with a monster double-double

         HKK Zrinjski achieved their third home win in the EUROHOLD Balkan League this season. The Bosnian side won against KK Brod-Svjetlost in Mostar with 79:65. With this win Zrinjski secured a place on the next stage and will be at least third in the final standings in group A, while for Brod it was 7 consecutive lose, and the team is still winless.
 
The game started equal, as no one couldn′t manage to take bigger lead 3 minutes before the end of the period -  after a good scoring run by the host, the first quarter the score ended - 21:14. In the second period, Boris Dzidzic`s side continued their good performance, and after 19:14, they were up by 12 points at halftime - 40:28. After 30 minutes of play the score was 59:44 for Zrinjski, as the hosts from Mostar got better and increased their lead. In the last period home side turn to a little bit slow tempo but after 20:21 in the last 10 minutes, HKK Zrinjski achieved their fourth win in this edition of Balkan League.
 
Zeljko Sakic once again made a great performance tonight, finishing with 13 points, 19 rebounds  and 6 assists, while Lazar Simonovic finished with 19 points and 6 boards. Almir Hasandic nailed 15 for the success. Team captain Armend Kahrimanovic did not play in the game.
 
For Brod-Svjetlost Filip Vukcevic was the best scorer with 17 points along with 6 rebounds, while Igor Maric ended with double-double of 11 points and rebounds.
