The defending EUROHOLD Balkan League champions - BC Levski achieved a win in what was probably their most important game from the BIBL group phase - at home against OKK Beograd. In the absence of head coach Titi Papazov, who is recovering from surgery, Toni Dechev filled in good as head coach and under his guidance the 2010 BIBL Champions defeated OKK 92:79 for their sixth win in the competition so far.

Levski got off to a better start in the first quarter and managed to break ahead of OKK. After 10 minutes of play the home side held a slight lead, having 2 points more than their Serbian opponents - 19:17.

The home side went strong into the second quarter and quickly started to increase their lead. Halfway through the second period of the game Levski held a 10-point lead - 32:22. At halftime, Levski were ahead by 6 points - 41:35.

After halftime OKK were motivated to get back in the game and continued to play a fast-paced game, which was a problem for Levski, at least when Priest Lauderdale was on the court. Slobodan Dundjerski dribbled coast to coast and scored in the last second of the period to fix the score at 68:64 after 30 minutes.

In the 32nd minute of the game OKK made their losing just 3 points - 70:67, after a three-pointer by 210-cm tall Dragan Zekovic. However Levski answered with a 13:2 run, which was finished with a basketb by Cekovski to find themselves ahead by 14 points - 83:69 with less than six minutes remaining. Until the end of the game OKK didn′t manage to cut their deficit and lost 92:79.

This was Levski′s sixth win in Group A, as they remained on top of the table with a 6-1 balance. However OKK are still second right behind them but their balance is 4-2, equal with HKK Zrinjski Mostar who are third, as those two will play a direct battle for the second spot in Belgrade.

Priest Lauderdale scored 22 points for the win, along with four rebounds and three blocks. Pavel Ivanov added 15 points, Gjorgi Cekovski and Donald Cole finished with 12 each. Aaron Harper scored 11 points coming off the bench.

Slobodan Dundjerski had another solid performance for OKK - 20 points and 6 assists. Aleksandar Tanaskovic added 18 points in the loss, while Dragan Zekovic was the third player to finish in double digits - 10 points in his BIBL debut.
