BC Balkan remained on the third spot in the Bulgarian NBL after Round 16. Petar Klechkov′s team won their away game at Chernomoretz Burgas by 12 points - 85:97 after a really strong second half. At halftime Balkan were losing by 4, but they won the second half 41:57 and took the W home.   Veteran forward Georgi Davidov had a solid game with 24 points and 9 rebounds. Dimitar Filipov added 14 points whileTsvetelin Ivanov scored 13 against his former team. Dwayne Morton and Emil Binev came off the bench, scoring 17 points each, as Binev knocked down 5 out of 6 from three-point range.   Simeon Naydenov led Chernomoretz with 24 points in their losing effort, while Hristo Zahariev added 17. Youngster Konstantin Koev had 15.   Balkan are third with a 9-7 balance after 16 rounds have been played, while Chernomoretz remained on the bottom of the table with 3-13.
