Domestic leagues : Great third period was enough for Balkan to overcome Rilski Sportist

       Balkan won the derby against Rilski Sportist - 84:70, in front of 800 spectators in Botevgrad. With this win, the hosts almost secured the third place in the regular season, as now they are on 10-7 balance, while Rilski are fourth on 8-9. The game was tied in the first 20 minutes, as no one managed to took the lead. After the break Petar Klechkov′s team showed an impressive defensive performance and after 24-12 in the third quater Balkan attained a comfortable lead before the last period. In the second half, Rilski Sportist made a lot of turnovers - 22 in the game against only 12 for Balkan, and didn′t manage to decrease their trail.
          Tsvetelin Ivanov played his best game for Balkan, since he joined the team from Chernomorets, finishing with 20 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Georgi Davidov added 17 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Ivan Lilov led Rilski Sportist once again with 21 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists, while Aleksandar Gruev ended with 17 in the losing case
