BC Mures are visiting the 2009 EUROHOLD Balkan League champions Rilski Sportist tomorrow in Samokov. This is a must-win game for the Romanian side if they want to keep any chances of going through to the quarterfinals. The game is also important for Rilski, as if they win they will also be a step closer to going through to the next phase.
 
Both teams are coming into this fixture after losses in their domestic championships. Rilski lost away from home in Botevgrad to one of their rivals and also BIBL participant - Balkan, as the score was 84:70. Mures also lost in the Romanian league, as CSA Steaua Turabo defeated them in Bucharest by 33 points - 101:68.
 
Rilski Sportist are currently third in Group B of the 2010/2011 EUROHOLD Balkan League with 3 wins and 3 losses, while BC Mures are right behind them in the fourth place - with a balance of 2 wins and 3 losses.
 
Ivan Lilov has been the best player for Rilski Sportist so far in the season. The 22-year old shooting guard who won the BIBL back in 2009 with the team from Samokov averages 20.0 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.8 assists in 6 games in the Balkan League. Vladimir Mijovic has been playing good as well, averaging 15.0 points and 11.0 rebounds per game. Six other players are averaging between 7.3 and 9.8 points per game for Rileco.
 
Aleksandar Mladenovic has been one of the leaders for Mures in the Balkan League this season, as the Serbian center scores 18.4 points along with 8.0 rebounds and 2.4 blocked shots per game, leading the league in the last category. Jason Forte has been impressive with his all-around performance - 14.6 points, 8.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.4 steals. JuJuan Cooley is among the top passers in the BIBL with 7.6 assists per game.
 
Rilski Sportist are scoring 78.4 points per game over their six games so far, shooting 58.4% for 2 points and 35% from long distance. The team has 34.7 rebounds and 15.2 assists per game.
 
On the other side Mures hav 84.8 points over 5 games, shooting 59.7% both from mid-range and from the 3-point line. The Romanian team averages 33.8 rebounds and 17.4 assists.
