KK Mornar and BC Rilski Sportist playing for the second spot in Group B

KK Mornar are hosting BC Rilski Sportist in a direct battle for the second place in Group B of the 2010/2011 EUROHOLD Balkan League.  This will be Rosen Barchovski′s debut as head coach of Rileco.   Rilski Sportist, the 2009 BIBL champions are currently second in Group B with a 4-3 balance. Mornar are third with a 4-2 balance. The Montenegrin team must win if they want to get the second spot in the group, as they already lost in the first game between the two teams in Samokov.   On the other side, a win for Rilski will give BC Mures a chance to qualify for the next phase, as if Rileco win tomorrow, BC Mures will have to beat Mornar by 15 or more points in the last round at home.   A brief look at the team statistics shows us that KK Mornar have the better offense, scoring 85.2 points per game, against 79.6 for Rilski. The Bulgarian side however has advantage in the assists (15.7 against 14.5) and the rebounds (34.0 against 30.0).   Ivan Lilov has been the best player for Rilski Sportist so far in the BIBL. The 22-year old shooting guard averages 20.1 points, 5.4 rebounds and 4.7 assists. Vladimir Mijovic quickly became a key figure for Rilski - 13.3 points and 8.0 rebounds, while the captain Aleksandar Gruev adds 11.6 points and 4.4 assists.   Ivan Jelenic leads KK Mornar with 18.4 points per game, while 19-year old forward Nikola Ljujic adds 13.3 points per contest. Another talented young player - Nikola Ivanovic (17 years of age) scores 11.2 points along with 2.5 assists and 3.8 rebounds.   The game tips off at 18.00 local time tomorrow night in Bar, Montenegro, as it will also be broadcasted live on http://sportmedia.tv.
