Feni Industries finished the regular season with a win and on the to of Group B

     Macedonian champion and Cup winner KK Feni Industries finished the regular season of EUROHOLD Balkan League with a win. Emil Rajkovic′s squad attained a victory on a difficult road game against Balkan Botevgrad - 76:83. It was one of the poorest performance from the team from Kavadarci in this edition of the Balkan League. The game had importance only for Feni Industries, as they need a win to finished on the first place of group A. With these success Feni reach their third consecutive EUROHOLD Balkan League Final 4 and became the only team with appearances in all the final stage tournaments. On the other side Balkan are on the last fifth place with a 1-7 record, as their sole win was against Rilski Sportist at home in the third round of the competition. The team were without two of their best players - Yordan Bozov and Dwayne Morton, who are out for a long-term injuries.

          The game started better for the guests from Macedonia, who won the first quarter with 8 points - 20:28. In the second period, Petar Klechkov`s side got better, while Feni Industries made a lot of turnovers and after 20:15, Macedonian team were still up by 3 points at halftime - 40:43. It this quarter a great performance showed Krum Doychinov, as the center block his opponents 3 times and made some spectacular dunks. After 30 minutes of play the score was 61:68, as the guest from Kavadarci  managed to increase their lead,  but despite this everything was going to be decided in the fourth quarter. The last period turned out to be really interesting, as Balkan quickly made a 5:0 run. Feni shooting percentage was terrible during the hole game but finally Macedonian champion succed to made three consecutive lay-ups, while Balkan players probably affected by the fatigue failed to follow their opponents and made a lot of stupid mistakes in the last 2 minutes and didn′t managed to take their second victory in the EUROHOLD Balkan League. The final score was set to 76:83.

 

          Krum Doychinov was the most efficient player on the court tonight, as the Balkan′s center impressed with a double-double of 15 points and rebounds, adding also 4 blocks. Three other players scored 14 points each for the hosts from Botevgrad - Lyubomir Lilov, Dimitar Philipov and Georgi Davidov.

 

          For the winners Slobodan Mihajlovski exploaded once again from the bench with 18 points in only 17 minutes of play. Jarrid Frye scored 17, while Darko Sokolov finished with 12. Feni′s latest signing Willard Vincent Crews didn′t manage to make the expectations, ended with only 4 points.
