OKK - Rilski and Mornar - Ulcinj are the 1/4 final battles

After the regular season finished tonight with the game between BC Balkan and KK Feni Industries (76:83), the final standings in Group A and Group B of the 2010/2011 EUROHOLD Balkan League are already clear, and so are the match-ups for the quarterfinal playoffs. The format is best of three series.
 
OKK Beograd (5-3), who finished in second place in Group A will play against the 2009 BIBL champion Rilski Sportist (4-4), who finished third in Group B. The first game will be played on the 22nd of March in Belgrade, and a week later - on the 29th of March the teams will play in Samokov. If necessary, a third game will be played on the 5th of April in Belgrade.
 
A team from Montenegro will play in the Final Four for sure, as the other match-up in the quarterfinals is between KK Ulcinj (4-4), third-placed in Group A will face their local rivals KK Mornar (6-2), who finished second in Group B. The first game is scheduled for the 23rd of March in Bar, while the second will be played a week later in Ulcinj - on the 30th of March. If a third game is necessary, the two teams will play on the 6th of April in Bar.   The winners in the quarterfinals will join BC Levski and KK Feni Industries, who qualified directly for the Final Four.
