In the third edition of the EUROHOLD Balkan League there aren′t many players who aren′t from the Balkans. Most teams rely mainly on young and talented local youngsters, mixed with some more experienced players.
 
This season OKK Beograd and KK Brod-Svjetlost impressed with their rosters, as both teams don′t have any foreign players - OKK are consisted by only Serbian players and KK Brod only by Croatians.
 
The defending BIBL champion - Levski has 3 Americans on the roster, and the other two not local players are from Macedonia. Balkan also have only one American along with only Bulgarian players.
 
The Bosnian representative - HKK Zrinjski used mainly Bosnian players, along with three Croatians and one Serbian.
 
Macedonia, in the face of KK Feni has two Americans, as all the other players are local - just Macedonians and two Serbians.
 
We come to the Montenegrin teams - KK Ulcinj have six players who aren′t local, but they are all from the Balkans - Bosnia and Serbia. The other participant KK Mornar is relying on local youngsters plus one Slovenian and one Serbian.
 
 BC Mures has four Americans and a Serbian, as they are the team with most players who aren′t from the Balkan Area.
