Domestic leagues : Mures climbed to the second place with a victory over Craiova

BC Mures made an impressive progress in the Romanian Division A. Only for a few weeks the team from Tirgu-Mures improved from fifth to second place, as now Mures divided it with U-Mobilteco Cluj-Napoca and Gaz-Metan Medias on 19-6 balance. In round 25 Csaba Deri′s squad has no problems against one of the weakest teams in the league - Craiova, defeating them 102:73. Mures were without two of their key players - Aleksandar Mladenovic, who was named MVP of the EUROHOLD Balkan League regular season, and the American playmaket JuJuan Cooley.
Mures′s latest signing Jason Straight finished with double-double of 17 points and 12 assists. Jason Forte was simply unstoppable with 28 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. The third American player in the hosts roster - Dwight Lewis scored 22 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. For Craiova Jermont Horton has a big day, scoring 27 points, along with 15 rebounds. Casey Wohleb ended with 20 points in the losing effort.
