Domestic: Levski finished second in the Bulgarian Cup

BC Levski, the 2010 BIBL and Bulgarian Cup champions failed to defend their trophy from last year in Yambol, after losing the final game to Lukoil Academic. At home in Universiada Hall in Sofia, Titi Papazov′s boys were defeated by just a single point - 81:80 in an interesting and dramatic game.   Levski were down 81:80 with nearly nine seconds to go, but Asen Velikov missed a three, and after that Pavel Ivanov failed to tip in the ball and give his team the trophy for the second consecutive year.   Aaron Harper played a terrific game for Levski, finishing with a double-double - 32 points and 10 rebounds. Jason Crowe added 15 points.   Bozhidar Avramov scored 21 for Lukoil, shooting 7/13 for three points. Todor Stoykov added 12 in the winning effort.
