The Serbian representative in the EUROHOLD Balkan League - OKK Beograd, and one of the Bulgarian teams and 2009 BIBL champion - BC Rilski Sportist are opening the quarterfinals tomorrow night in Belgrade. This season for the first time the BIBL is using a new format for this phase - best of 3 series.   OKK finished second in Group A, behind Levski, with a balance of 5-3, while the 2010 champions advanced directly to the Final Four with a balance of 7-1. Rilski got the third place in Group B with a balance of 4-4 and went through to this phase.   Slobodan Dundjerski has been one of OKK′s key players, with his all-around performances all season long so far - 9.9 points, 5.8 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.8 steals per game. Dragan Zekovic and Uros Lucic have played respectively in only 3 and 2 games, but Zekovic has 16.7 points while Lucic averages 14.0 points per contest. Dragan Mitrovic, the team captain adds 10.8 points and 4.3 assists, while former Rilski Sportist player Srdjan Zivkoc averages 10.0 points per game. Uros Lucic is the best rebounder with 7.0 rebounds average.   Ivan Lilov has been a key figure for Rilski Sportist after coming back in Samokov in the begining of the season - 20.0 points, 5.1 rebounds and 4.5 assists average in 8 games so far. Vladimir Mijovic has been performing consistently - 13.3 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.8 blocks.   OKK have been scoring 72.4 points per game in their games from the group phase, allowing 80.1 points per game. However that didn′t stop them from finishing second in their group. Marko Icelic′s team also has a team total of 28.1 rebounds, 14.9 assists and 8.1 steals per game.   Rilski Sportist scored 78.9 points per game in their 8 appearances in the group phase, allowing the opposition to score 81.1 points average. The team also has 33.5 rebounds and 14.9 assists along with 5.3 steals.   OKK and Rilski are meeting for the first time in the EUROHOLD Balkan League, as the Serbian team are in their second season in the BIBL, while Rilski are playing for the third time in the competition.   The Serbian team won in their last game of their home championship - defeating FMP Zeleznik 79:75 at home, while Rilski Sportist lost their game in the Bulgarian championship, being defeated 85:93 at home by Lukoil Academic.   The game tips off at 18.00 local time tomorrow night in Sport EKO Gym in Belgrade and will be broadcasted live on http://sportmedia.tv.
