Pepsi to support the EUROHOLD Balkan League

Pepsi supports the Final Four in the men’s Balkan International Basketball League. The logo of the world-famous soft drink will stand in those remaining games from the tournament that will be hosted by Bulgarian teams. According to a contract between the League and the official bottler of the PepsiCo products in Bulgaria – Quadrant Beverages, the logo will be in advertising materials and banners during all games in Bulgaria.

Pepsi has long-standing tradition of connection to sports globally. Most basketball fans probably remember the ad of the brand with Shaquille O’Neal, where legendary Shaq begs a little kid for the drink but does not get it. The current season of the Balkan International basketball League will soon enter its decisive phase. Two of the teams of the “big four” that will decide the 2011 champion are already awaiting their opponents – the Bulgarian Levski, which is the defending 2010 champion and the Macedonian Feni Industries will play for the title against the winners in the matches Rilski Sportist – OKK Beograd and Ulcinj - Mornar. On 30 March it will be clear which among them will complete the Final Four, in which 2 of the teams could be Bulgarian.
