In Memoriam: Sad day for the Bulgarian basketball and the Balkan International Basketball League

March 30th 2011 will be remembered as one of the sad days for the basketball in Bulgaria. Earlier today the president of the Bulgarian Basketball Federation - Mr. Mihail Mihov passed away suddenly, most probably after suffering a massive heart attack.
 
Mr. Mihov at the age of 47, was elected for president of the Bulgarian Basketball Federation in the year of 2008. With him on top of the federation, the men′s senior national team qualified to EuroBasket 2009 and EuroBasket 2011. Before being elected as president of the Federation, he was president of MM Beer Cherno More Varna.
 
The management of the EUROHOLD Balkan League is in shock from the tragedy and sends its deepest condolences to the family, relatives and close ones to Mihail Mihov.
