KK Mornar defeated KK Ulcinj and won the series 2-1 Mornar are on to the Final 4

KK Mornar Bar defeated KK Ulcinj 77:69 in the decisive third game of the quarterfinal playoffs and qualified to the 2011 EUROHOLD Balkan League Final Four. The spectators in Bar saw a good and interesting game of basketball between two talented squads.
 
The game was tied in the opening minutes as neither, before Mornar got a 6:4 lead after a basket by Ivanovic. However Ulcinj didn′t seem like giving up and erased the margin, in order to break ahead 9:12 after a basket by Radoje Djurkovic. Ivan Jelenic scored a three for Mornar, to make the score 15:14 with 3.48 to go, and from now until the end of the first period they didn′t let go the lead. After 10 minutes they were up 23:18. Ivan Jelenic had 12 points so far.
 
Ulcinj started the second period with a 0:7 run so they could go ahead 23:25 with 7.17 left on the clock. Nemanja Radovic gave Mornar a 31:28 lead after a three with 4.34 to go, before Sasa Mijajlovic made it 31:30. That was followed by 8 unanswered points for Mornar (39:39). Halfway through the game the home side held a deserved 11-point lead - 45:34.
 
Mornar opened up the second half with a five-to-nothing run to increase their lead to 16 - 50:34. Ulcinj′s answer was the same - five unanswered points for 50:39 with 5.52 left in the third quarter. Radovan Pesic scored five points in a row to give Mornar a 56:39 lead with 3.26 left. After 30 minutes of play Mornar had a 59:44 lead.
 
The home side increased their lead to 61:44 as Nikola Ivanovic opened up the fourth period with a baket. In the next couple of minutes the difference was varying between 17 and 14 points, before  Marko Kuveljic gave Mornar a 72:53 advantage with around 4 minutes to go. Ulcinj still didn′t give up as they scored 7 points in a row to decrease the difference to 72:60 with 1.13 to go. They continued with their good play and were now just 6 points away - 73:67 with less than a minute to go, but Mornar scored all their free-throws and Ulcinj had to go home as the losing side - 77:69 in the end of regulation.
 
Mornar advances to the 2011 EUROHOLD Balkan League Final Four, after they won the series 2-1 (W69:60, L80:68 and W77:69).
 
Marko Kuveljic scored the most points for Mornar - 15, coming off the bench. Three other players scored 14 points each - Nemanja Radovic, Ivan Jelenic and Miroslav Damjanovic. Radovic also added 9 rebounds to his statline. Nikola Ivanovic had a solid game also - 11 points, 9 boards and 5 assists.
 
Radoje Djurkovic had 14 points for Ulcinj, while Sinisa Tepavcevic added 12. Dusan Milosevic, Sasa Mijajlovic and Aleksandar Z. Radulovic scored 10 points each in the losing effort.
