Domestic leagues: Heavy defeat for Balkan against Lukoil

The third Bulgarian participant in the 2010/2011 EUROHOLD Balkan League - BC Balkan suffered a heavy home defeat in the NBL from their "neighbor" Lukoil Academic. Nikolay Peev′s team lost in Botevgrad 64:106.   Georgi Davidov scored 12 points for Balkan, while Tsvetelin Ivanov, Ivaylo Vuchkov and Krum Doychinov finished the game with 10 each.   Travis Peterson had 20 for Lukoil Academic, while the team captain Todor Stoykov added 19 and 8 assists in the winning effort.   Balkan are third one round before the end of the regular season in the Bulgarian NBL.
