Panathinaikos and Maccabi Electra will decide who will be the 2011 champion of the Euroleague. In the semifinals last night in Palau San Jordi those two teams defeated Montepaschi Siena and Real Madrid in order to get to the final game.   In the first semifinal in front of 15.678 spectators, the four-time European club champion Panathinaikos, led by head coach Zeljko Obradovic defeated Montepaschi Siena 77:69, and became the first finalist. The star of the night was Nick Calathes, as the 198-cm tall guard finished with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists. Mike Batiste had 16 points and 7 rebounds, while Antonis Fotsis scored 14 points in the win. Rimas Kaukenas led Siena in scoring - 13 points, while Hairston and Rakovic added 12 and 10.   In the second semifinal game Maccabi Electra showed great entertainment to the spectators in the arena and didn′t have any trouble beating Real Madrid by almost 20 points of difference - 82:63. Chuck Eidson made the difference on the court, as he  finished with 19 points, 8 rebounds and 6 steals. Sofoklis Schortsianitis had 16, Guy Pnini added 14 while Jeremy Pargo had 13 and 7 asssits. Ante Tomic scored 17 for Real Madrid, while Felipe Reyes had a double-double - 15 points and 14 rebounds.   Panathinaikos and Maccabi will meet in the final game, which is set for 16.30 local time on Sunday, 8th of May, while Real Madrid and Montepaschi Siena will decide the third and fourth-placed teams from 13.30 on the same day.
