The NBA comes to the Balkans

The National Basketball Association is coming to the Balkans from the next basketball season. That′s going to happen as Spalding is going to be the official game ball of the EUROHOLD Balkan League from the upcoming 2011/2012 season.   Spalding is one of the most respected and well-known companies for sports equipment around the world. The company was founded in 1876 in Chicago, Illinois, while their first basketball was produced back in 1894.   The company has been the officiall game ball supplier to the NBA since 1983. Spalding also is officiall supplier to the WNBA, the NBDL (National Basketball Development League), ABA (American Basketball Association) and multiple national leagues all around the world.   Spalding has endorsement deals with multiple athletes and sports teams, as some of the most famous names are Boston Celtics′ Paul Pierce and the show team of the Harlem Globetrotters.
