Domestic leagues: Levski started the finals with a loss

Levski started the final series in the Bulgarian NBL with a loss to the defending champion Lukoil Academic. Konstantin Papazov′s squad lost 76:81 away from home. Halfway through the game they were down by 22, but in the end they almost managed to turn things around.   Aaron Harper scored 34 points. Donald Cole added 15 plus 8 rebounds, while Zlatin Georgiev finished with 13 on the night.   Todor Stoykov once again was the well-known leader for Lukoil Academic, scoring a team-high 18 points. Brandon Heath finished with 16 and 8 assists.
