The Balkan League continues to develop - there will be a junior tournament in 2011/12

The EUROHOLD Balkan League continues to develop, as already the newest fact for the upcoming season is known - there will be a junior tournament during the 2011/2012 campaign. The participating teams shall be the junior squads of the senior teams participating in the BIBL.    
This matter has been discussed in the past board meetings of the league, but at that point there still wasn′t anything official. However everything is clear now, and the BIBL will continue to work for the development of basketball and youth players in the Balkans, after adding this junior tournament to the calendar of the League for the 2011/2012 season.   The junior competition will be organized with the approval and also in cooperation with FIBA Europe.  
There will be more details when the participating teams for next season will be known.
