The 2011 European Nationwide Referee Camp finished in Varna. 49 officials from 19 countries spent one week in the Bulgarian city, officiating the games from the U16 Finals and also learning and training under the guidance of Alan Richardson, Shay Shtriks, Valentin Lazarov, Kamen Toshev, Todd Warnick, Gjorgi Piperkov, Stefan Stanev and Mansour Al-Ahmari.
 
After the camp was already finished, the participants were awarded with certificates at the closing ceremony, as also the camp staff gave some special awards. Boris Krejic from Slovenia received the award for "Best Referee", while Wojtek Swilo from Germany was named "Most Improved Referee". Jelena Panic (Serbia), Gesthimani Petanidou (Greece), Tahir Akar (England) and Vladimir Pediev (Ukraine) also received awards on the final night.   The referees, who participated in the camp officiated all the games from the group stage of the U16 Bulgarian Finals.
