Levski and Rilski Sportist will represent Bulgaria in the 2011/2012 EUROHOLD Balkan League

The Bulgarian Basketball Federation sent a letter to the office of the EUROHOLD Balkan League, regarding the Bulgarian participants in the BIBL for the 2011/2012 season. The teams will be BC Levski Sofia, the BIBL champion from 2010 and BC Rilski Sportist - the 2009 BIBL champion.
 
Both teams played in the EUROHOLD Balkan League last season, as they both reached the Final Four. Levski lost in the semifinals to Feni Industries, while Rileco lost in the final game against the same team.
 
During the last season in Bulgaria Levski won two pairs of silver medals - in the National Basketball League and in the Cup. Rilski Sportist finished third in the Cup and fourth in the National Basketball League.
