KK Mornar Bar will participate in the 2011/2012 EUROHOLD Balkan League

KK Mornar Bar confirmed their participation in the 2011/2012 EUROHOLD Balkan League with an official letter, addressed to the BIBL. This will be the Montenegrin team′s third consecutive year in the League, as they made their debut back in 2009/2010.   During the last season of the EUROHOLD BIBL, Mornar impressed everybody, as they reached the Final Four, but there they lost to the future champion KK Feni Industries in the semifinals.   Last season head coach Djordje Pavicevic relied mainly on talented local youngsters, such as Nikola Ivanovic, Nemanja Radovic and Slovenian Mirza Sarajlija. Also they had one of the top scorers of the BIBL Ivan Jelenic.   The average age of the team was 22.4 years, which made them the second youngest team in the BIBL, after KK Brod-Svjetlost.
