Bulgaria (U18) will play against Montenegro (U18) for a spot in Division A

The Bulgarian (U18) Men team is just one win away from a promotion from Division B to Division A. Lubomir Minchev′s boys defeated Denmark 72:81 today, and will face Montenegro in the semifinal on Saturday. Whoever wins the semifinal gets promoted to Division A, as the top 2 teams from Division B get automatically promoted.   Dimitar Dimitrov shined for Bulgaria against Denmark, as the Rimini player had 28 points and 12 boards, shooting 6/6 from long range. Pavlin Ivanov added 17, while Nikolay Stoyanov had 12.   Montenegro won 78:58 against Israel and finished second in Group F, so they will face Bulgaria (1st in Group E). Marko Mugosa scored 32 points in the win, and Mornar′s Nikola Ivanovic also added a solid performance - 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists.   In the other semifinal game Sweden will face Denmark.   The U18 Division B European Championship is being hosted in Varna, Bulgaria.
