Georgi Glushkov: "The idea of WBIBL is really important for us"

The president of the Bulgarian Basketball Federation - Georgi Glushkov shared his opinion about the newest basketabll project in the Balkan region - Women International Basketball League (WBIBL). Here is what he said for gong.bg.   "I discussed the idea of the WBIBL with the Sports Director of the EUROHOLD Balkan League - Shay Shtriks a couple of days ago. I really like the idea of this project, because FIBA Europe has a high deposit for their competitions, which stops the women teams from Bulgaria, and the Balkans in general. I think that there is an interest from 1 or 2 Bulgarian teams to participate in a competition such as WBIBL. We are waiting to see the reply of the other federations about how much and which teams want to participate."   "Everything just has to be researched. I think that a competition like this will be very good and very important for our national women′s basketball" Glushkov added.
