Bulgaria U16 remains winless, Croatia reaches the 1/4 finals

Bulgaria U16 remained winless at the European Championship Division A and will need a miracle not to get relegated in Division B. Bulgaria′s latest loss came against Lithuania, as this time it was by 15 points - 77:92. Aleksandar Vezenkov led Bulgaria with 36 points in this game. Vezenkov is the leading scorer of the tournament, posting 26.8 points per game.   Croatia reached the quarterfinals of the Championship and will face Russia later today, looking for a spot in the semifinals. Mario Hezonja is leading Croatia, averaging 17.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 2.0 steals per contest.   Serbia will play for classification from 9th to 12th place, as later today they will play against Ukraine in their first game of this stage.   In Division B, Bosnia & Herzegovina reached the semifinals and will face Slovenia in a direct battle for the spot in Division A. The host side Macedonia is playing for clasification from 17th to 22nd place.
