BC Rilski Sportist filled the gap after the departure of their assistant coach Bozhidar Gyorev. The team from Samokov acquired Vasil Hristov, who is coming from Lukoil Academic and added Filip Vukosavljevic at the center position.

Vasil Hristov is 23 years old and was head coach of the U12 boys in Lukoil Academic before joining Rileco. He was an assistant coach for Petar Klechkov in the U20 Men NT this summer, while last summer he was responsible for the team scouting.

Filip Vukosavljevic is Rilski′s latest signing for the new season. Vukosavljevic is 28 years old and is 206 cm tall. He spent the last season in Cyprus, playing for AEK Larnaka. He averaged 9.5 points and 3.4 rebounds per contest. Before that he spent three seasons in Serbia, playing for Proleter Zrenjanin. In 2009/2010 his statline was 16.4 points and 5.7 rebounds per contest.

Rilski started preparation for the new season today, as Vukosavljevic is already in Samokov. Head coach Rosen Barchovski and the other new signing Asen Velikov will join the team on a later stage, as they are with the national team of Bulgaria.
