EuroBasket 2011 starts today in Lithuania

EuroBasket 2011 starts today in Lithuania, as there will be six Balkan countries playing at the championship: Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro, Croatia and Bulgaria.
 
Serbia is in Group B with the teams of Italy, Israel, France, Latvia and Germany. Bosnia & Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro and Croatia are in Group C which can be reffered to as the "Balkan group", where the other two teams are Greece and Finland. Bulgaria is in Group D with Belgium, Georgia, Slovenia, Russia and Ukraine. Israel, who recently joined the BIBL is playing against Germany today.  
Today Serbia is facing Italy, Montenegro will play against Macedonia, Bosnia will take on Greece, Croatia is playing against Finland, and Bulgaria will face Slovenia.
