EuroBasket 2011, Group C
Things got tough in the "Balkan" Group C of EuroBasket 2011, after Day 3. Bosnia suffered a surprising heavy defeat against Finland, Macedonia defeated Greece and Croatia won against Montenegro.
Finland - Bosnia & Herzegovina 92:64
Bosnia suffered a heavy almost 30-point loss against the team of Finland. Five Finnish players scored in double digits for the win, led by Mikko Koivisto with 17.
Henry Domercant shined with 25 points for Bosnia & Herzegovina.
Now both teams share the same balance - 1-2, along with Montenegro with two games to go.
Greece - Macedonia 58:72
Macedonia made the sensation of the day, after taking down their neighbours from Greece by 14 points of difference - 58:72. That was their second straight win, which put them on second place with a balance of 2-1, the same as Croatia and Greece.
Bo McCalebb scored 27 points, adding 4 rebounds and 4 assists, and Pero Antic finished with 12 points.
Antoniis Fotsis scored 16 for Greece in their losing effort.
Croata - Montenegro 87:81
Ante Tomic led Croatia to the win against Montenegro, which would put hte Croatians in the third spot in Group C, sharing a 2-1 balance with Greece and Macedonia.
Tomic had 26 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Marko Popovic added 23, while Dontaye Draper was 1 point shy of a double-double - 9 points and 12 assists.
Goran Jeretin had 18 for Montenegro, while Vladimir Dragicevic added 17.News
