EuroBasket 2011: Macedonia with a big win, secures spot in the next phase

Macedonia continues to do big things at EuroBasket 2011 in Lithuania. Yesterday in Vilnius Marin Dokuzovski′s squad achieved their fifth overall win in the competition, after beating Georgia by 2 points - 63:65.   This win secured them a spot in the next phase of EuroBasket 2011.   Bo McCalleb had another strong performance - 27 points, 4 assists and 4 steals. Vojdan Stojanovski and Pero Antic added 8 points each.   Nikoloz Tskitishvili scored 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for Georgia, while Viktor Sanikidze finished with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 7 turnovers.   In their next game Macedonia are facing Slovenia.
