EuroBasket 2011: Russia beat Macedonia, sent them against Lithuania at the 1/4 finals

Macedonia will play against the host from Lithuania in the quarterfinals of EuroBasket 2011. In their last game from the second phase of the tournament, the Macedonian side was defeated by Russia, after Sergey Monya sank a three-point shot with the buzzer to give his side the win - 63:61.
 
With this win Russia secured the first spot, while Macedonia finished second. In the quarterfinals Russia will play Serbia.
 
Bo McCalleb scored 16 points for Macedonia, while Pero Antic added a double-double - 15 points and 10 rebounds.
 
Aleksey Shved scored 14 for Russia and Vitali Fridzon finished with 11 points on the night.
 
The quarterfinals start on Thursday.
