HKK Zrinjski Mostar are set to enter their second straight season in the EUROHOLD Balkan League. The Bosnian team left some really good impressions during their debut campaign in the BIBL last year. They played in Group A, where they ended up on the fourth position with a balance of 4-4.

The team was left by some of the key players from last season, including Zeljko Sakic (19.1 points and 9.1 rebounds), Armend Kahrimanovic (15.2 points and 5.2 rebounds) and Lazar Simonovic (15.6 points and 4.4 assists), but the new additions to the roster seem like good replacements. Zrinjski signed Sinisa Tepavcevic and Aleksandar S. Radulovic, who played in KK Ulcinj last season. Tepavcevic scored 10.6 points and added 4.8 rebounds in 11 games for Ulcinj last season, while 209-cm tall Aleksandar Radulovic had 13.0 points and 7.2 rebounds in 11 appearances as well.

Another notable thing is that three of the team′s new signings are big men - Aleksandar Radulovic (209 cm), Bogdan Jovanovic (206 cm) and Obrad Tomic (207 cm). Zrinjski also added American forward Marcel Jones (203 cm).

Dejan Parezanin will be coaching the team this season, who joined the team, after being hed coach of Bosnian powerhouse Bosna Sarajevo.

In 2011 Zrinjski finished seventh in the Bosnian League. The team′s biggest achievments are playing in the semifinals of the local cup in 2005, 2006 and 2007, and also reaching the league semifinals in 2005 and 2006. In 2004 HKK Zrinjski Mostar was champion of the Croatian League in Bosnia & Herzegovina.

For the 2011/2012 season in the BIBL, Zrinjski is in Group B along with the teams of BC Levski (Bulgaria), BC Hapoel Tel-Aviv (Israel), the defending champion of the Balkan League - KK Feni Industries (Macedonia), KK Ulcinj (Montenegro) and KK Napredak Rubin (Serbia).
