Macedonia will play for the bronze, after a defeat against Spain

Macedonia will play for the bronze medals at EuroBasket 2011, after a defeat in the semifinals against the reigning champion Spain. The final score was 92:80 for Spain, as in the final game they will face France.   Macedonia will play against Russia in the game for third and fourth place.   Juan Carlos Navarro made the big difference in this semifinal, as "La Bomba" erupted with 35 points, including 19 in the third period. The whole Macedonian team scored 17 in the third. Pau Gasol added 22 points and 17 rebounds.   Bo McCalleb finished with 25 points and 5 assists for Macedonia. Pero Antic added 17 and 9 rebounds, while Vlado Ilievski had 15.   The final and the third/fourth place game are on Sunday.
